Competent Person Courses

Certification of Your Employees As Competent Persons

OSHA requires that certain individuals may be certified as “Competent Persons” that require training and/or experience, and are knowledgeable of applicable standards, can identify workplace hazards relating to the specific operation, and has the authority to correct them.

It is essential to have people who are knowledgeable about employee and job-specific safety requirements and can report them should the situation arise.

Safety Controls Technology has a variety of interactive training courses that can train your employees in various industrial and job applications so that they can meet this key OSHA reporting requirement. Neglecting this requirement can lead to OSHA violations and leave your worksite at risk for injury, fines, and more.
