SCT’s Safety Staffing Services includes our Occupational Safety and Health Technicians who travel all over the US. They usually work on glass furnace demolition and rebuild or repair projects. SCT employees are there the entire project training the employees, drug testing, and making sure everyone is working safely.
Dragan Savic, CHST
Vice President of Glass Technology
and Safety Staff Augmentation
Dragan Savic trains and manages SCT’s team of safety technicians. He is a certified Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) and is responsible for project management of glass and steel furnace demolition/rebuild projects. Savic has more than a decade of experience working in the glass industry.
In addition to his management responsibilities, Savic performs Industrial Hygiene-related surveys as a coating inspection specialist (NACE level 1) and is also part of the SCT safety and health training team.
Since joining SCT in 2004, Savic has gained extensive knowledge and experience in the areas of OSHA excavation, trenching, shoring, fall protection, fall arrest systems, scaffolding, lead abatement, mold, indoor air quality, and respiratory protection. He has performed more than 600 safety audits to determine OSHA compliance, and has developed site-specific safety and health plans for both construction and general industry.
Aaron Zaksheske, GSP, CHST
Director of Temporary Safety Staffing Services
Aaron began with SCT in 2014 as an Occupational Safety and Health Technician. He quickly showed an immense aptitude for leading safety training and implementing customized training within the glass manufacturing industry. Mr. Zaksheske has been a project manager and safety lead on projects across the United States. He graduated from Slippery Rock University with a degree in Safety Management.

Phil has spent the past decade as Project Manager and Demolition Manager at National Machinery & Conveyor, Inc. The company works extensively in the glass industry, and he led all aspects of rebuild projects, refractory safety, environmental safety and tear outs. Prior to NMC, Phil was served as General Manager at Glenn Hunter & Associates. He was in charge of safety including silica, particulates, heavy machinery, high voltage, conveyors, and material handling. At SCT, Phil helps lead, coordinate, and develop SCT’s team of highly qualified Safety Technicians at jobsites across the United States.
